POULTRYINDONESIA, Sidoarjo<\/strong> \u2014 The Deputy Regent of Blitar, Beky Herdihansah<\/strong>, conducted a working visit to PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPI) Krian, East Java<\/strong>, together with his delegation on Monday (12\/1\/2026). Beky was accompanied by the Head of the Food Security and Agriculture Agency, the Head of the Cooperatives and MSMEs Agency, the Chairman of Berkah Telur Cooperative, and the Head of the Livestock Service of Blitar Regency.<\/h6>\n
Beky and his delegation were warmly welcomed by Regional Head of CPI East Java, Benyamin Limi<\/strong>. Also in attendance were President Director of PT Bisi Internasional, Agus Saputra Wijaya<\/strong>, Head of the CPI Safety Committee, Soejanto Widjaja<\/strong>, along with other members of the CPI East Java management team.<\/h6>\n
On this occasion, CPI opened a discussion forum with the Blitar Regency Government regarding the development of the livestock and agricultural industries. Beky and his delegation were also invited to observe firsthand the production process of high-quality feed at the CPI East Java factory.<\/h6>\n
There was a clear reason behind the working visit. Beky assessed that PT CPI has provided tangible support for the national food security program. He also noted that CPI has become a strategic partner for both the government and farmers, particularly in Blitar Regency.<\/h6>\n
\u201cOur visit together with regional government agencies is to express our appreciation to PT CPI for its significant contribution to Blitar Regency and its role in supporting the President\u2019s food security program,\u201d he said.<\/h6>\n
Beky expressed hope that the synergy between the Blitar Regency Government and PT CPI could further advance agriculture and livestock development in Blitar, considering that the regency is one of Indonesia\u2019s main poultry production centers\u2014especially for layer chickens\u2014and also has strong agricultural potential, particularly in corn production.<\/h6>\n
Head of the Blitar Regency Food Security and Agriculture Agency, Setiyana<\/strong>, added that the working visit provided valuable insights, including information on the development of agricultural machinery and equipment (Alsintan).<\/h6>\n
\u201cWe will strive to synergize with PT CPI in many aspects, one of which is the future use of agricultural machinery, as well as the technology involved,\u201d he explained.<\/h6>\n
Meanwhile, Benyamin Limi<\/strong>, representing the management of PT CPI East Java, expressed his gratitude to Deputy Regent Beky Herdihansah and his delegation for the visit.<\/h6>\n
During the discussion session, PT CPI presented several topics, including the use of agricultural machinery such as drones to assist farmers in applying liquid fertilizers, pesticides, and monitoring crop performance. The discussion also covered the use of combined harvesters for rice and corn to benefit farmers during harvest, as well as information on probiotic feed.<\/h6>\n
\u201cWe also exchanged ideas and shared information in preparation for 2026, so that a strong relationship, good cooperation, and solid synergy can be established between the Blitar Regency Government and PT CPI East Java. Hopefully, this collaboration will be beneficial and bring blessings to the wider community,\u201d Benyamin concluded.<\/h6>\n
