POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta<\/strong> \u2013 The IDR 20 trillion integrated poultry downstreaming program<\/strong> prepared by Danantara Investment Management Agency<\/strong> is set to be implemented soon.<\/p>\n

Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman<\/strong> explained that the development of integrated poultry downstreaming\u2014covering feed mills, PS and GPS breeding units, poultry slaughterhouses (RPHU), cold storage facilities, and processing plants<\/strong>\u2014will be carried out in two phases.<\/p>\n

The first phase<\/strong> will cover 12 provinces<\/strong>, while the second phase<\/strong> will be expanded to 18 provinces<\/strong> across various regions in Indonesia. The program is scheduled to be officially launched at the end of January 2026<\/strong>, marked by a simultaneous groundbreaking ceremony on January 28, 2026<\/strong>, to be held in 12 provinces.<\/p>\n

Speaking during a poultry sector gathering based on materials presented by the Director General of Livestock and Animal Health Services (PKH)<\/strong> on Saturday (November 22, 2025), Amran expressed hope that the initial phase of the program would proceed smoothly so that its benefits can be felt immediately by the public, particularly small-scale farmers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This initiative is expected to serve as a long-term solution<\/strong> to maintain balance between production and prices, while also reaffirming the state\u2019s presence in protecting strategic food sectors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
