POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta<\/b> \u2014 Ahead of the 2026 National Religious Holidays (HBKN), poultry industry players have collectively committed to maintaining the stability of supply and prices for chicken meat and eggs in accordance with the Government Reference Price (HAP). this commitment was conveyed through close collaboration between business actors and the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health (Ditjen PKH).<\/p>\n
In a short video uploaded by Ditjen PKH on Monday (Jan 26), poultry stakeholders voiced their commitment to capping the price of live birds<\/b> at a maximum of Rp25,000 per kilogram and purebred chicken eggs<\/b> at a maximum of Rp26,500 per kilogram at the farm level. Monitoring these HAP regulations is part of an effort to create a conducive business climate and protect farmers.<\/p>\n
Achmad Dawami<\/b>, Chairman of the Association of Poultry Breeding Companies (GPPU), appreciated the synergy between the government and the private sector.<\/p>\n “Let us work together to support this collaboration between the government, entrepreneurs, and the GPPU. We must particularly ensure the availability of Day-Old Chicks (DOC) for the MSMEs that need our attention as we face this holiday season,” he stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n A similar sentiment was echoed by the Secretary General of PINSAR Indonesia, Mukhlis Wahyudi<\/b>, who reaffirmed his organization\u2019s willingness to cooperate with Ditjen PKH to ensure that supply and prices remain aligned with the HAP.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Suwardi<\/b>, Chairman of the Unggas Sejahtera Cooperative in Kendal, highlighted the cooperative\u2019s role in securing poultry-based food availability during HBKN 2026. “We are committed to the success of HBKN 2026 by stabilizing food supply and prices, specifically for eggs, in accordance with National Food Agency Regulation No. 6 of 2024,” he explained.<\/p>\n In a separate update on Tuesday (Jan 27), Ditjen PKH also shared the commitment of national poultry breeders to maintain the supply of Final Stock (FS) DOC<\/b> for both broilers and layers. The fulfillment of DOC requirements follows Ministry of Agriculture Regulation No. 10 of 2024, with prices referring to the HAP. The agreed-upon prices for FS DOC among breeders are a maximum of Rp7,000 per bird for broilers<\/b> and Rp11,000 per bird for layers<\/b>.<\/p>\n Widarsono<\/b>, lead of PT Hybro and PT Ayam Manggis, stated that his party is committed to setting prices according to government benchmarks for both live birds and layers. “Hopefully, this excellent communication between the government and breeders continues into the future,” he hoped.<\/p>\n Dewa Putu Sumatera<\/b>, lead of PT Super Unggas Jaya, concluded by emphasizing that his company is committed to maintaining price stability even after the holiday season has passed. “We aim to keep the poultry business conducive to provide benefits for all stakeholders. The collaboration initiated by the government has greatly helped maintain a healthy business atmosphere,” he said.<\/p>\n\n
