POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta<\/strong> \u2013 Aviagen<\/span><\/span><\/strong> has officially appointed Antonin Bonneau<\/span><\/span><\/strong> as the new President of Aviagen Asia<\/strong>, effective April 11, 2026<\/strong>. This appointment is part of the company\u2019s strategic move to strengthen business growth in the Asian region while enhancing more responsive and closer support for customers across various countries.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Antonin will lead all Aviagen operations across Asia, working closely with regional teams and customers. He will also leverage the company\u2019s global experience and expertise in poultry breeding development to support the advancement of the poultry industry in the region.<\/p>\n

Aviagen CEO Jan Henriksen<\/span><\/span><\/strong> stated that Antonin brings a strong combination of strategic insight and practical experience in the agribusiness sector. According to him, Antonin\u2019s understanding of the dynamics of the Asian poultry market as well as on-the-ground production realities makes him well suited to lead Aviagen\u2019s business in the region.<\/p>\n

\u201cAntonin has a clear vision and a commitment to sustainable growth. We are confident that his leadership will provide stronger support to our customers while helping shape the future of Aviagen in Asia,\u201d Henriksen said.<\/p>\n

Antonin himself emphasized the importance of collaboration with teams and customers across Asian countries. He noted that the region features diverse poultry production systems and varying market expectations.<\/p>\n

\u201cAsia presents many different poultry production models. I look forward to working with our teams and customers to support them in achieving their goals and continuing to create success through our breeding programs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Antonin brings more than 24 years of international leadership experience in Asia<\/strong>, along with a strong understanding of the diverse characteristics of poultry markets in the region. He is recognized for his entrepreneurial approach that drives business growth through strategic planning, effective execution, and cross-functional team leadership in multicultural environments.<\/p>\n

Before joining Aviagen<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Antonin spent 13 years with Ceva Animal Health<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, where he held several strategic roles, including Country Manager for Vietnam, Cambodia, and China<\/strong>, before later serving as Vice-President Asia-Pacific<\/strong>. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA)<\/strong> and a Master\u2019s degree in Agribusiness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Across Asia, poultry production and consumption are strongly influenced by local market conditions, climate, and varying customer needs<\/strong>. To address this diversity, Aviagen applies a multi-brand approach<\/strong> through its leading breeding lines Arbor Acres<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Indian River<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, and Ross<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, allowing customers to choose solutions best suited to their respective market requirements.<\/p>\n

Going forward, Antonin will strengthen Aviagen\u2019s focus on supporting customers through breeding strategies aligned with daily production needs while also addressing long-term industry goals.
