This condition has led some farmers to temporarily postpone their poultry production.<\/h6>\n<h6 data-start=\"281\" data-end=\"594\">The Secretary General of the Gabungan Organisasi Peternak Ayam (GOPAN), Sugeng Wahyudi, stated that live chicken prices in several regions have dropped significantly in recent days. In West Java, for example, prices are currently around IDR 19,000 per kilogram (kg), while in Central Java they are slightly lower.<\/h6>\n<h6 data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"890\">\u201cLive chicken prices previously reached around IDR 25,000 per kg at the farm level. With the production cost for large-sized chickens at approximately IDR 21,000 per kg, farmers have been incurring losses of about IDR 2,000 per kg over the past week,\u201d Sugeng told the media on Monday (April 6).<\/h6>\n<h6 data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"1169\">This situation has prompted some farmers to delay restocking (chick-in) rather than immediately cutting production drastically.
