POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta \u2013 Indo Livestock 2026<\/span><\/span> is being thoroughly prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia<\/span><\/span> in collaboration with PT Napindo Media Ashatama<\/span><\/span>. This international event is designed to bring together stakeholders from the livestock, animal health, and feed industries across dozens of countries, while also serving as a stage for Indonesia to showcase the progress of its livestock sector to the world.<\/h6>\n
More than just an exhibition, the forum is intended as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, technology, and innovation. With the participation of international business players, opportunities for collaboration are expected to expand significantly, ultimately boosting the global competitiveness of Indonesia\u2019s livestock industry.<\/h6>\n
As part of the preparation, a series of socialization events were held over two days, April 21\u201322, 2026, in Jakarta. Various stakeholders were involved, including ministries and government institutions, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and private sector players in the livestock and feed subsectors.<\/h6>\n
On that occasion, Secretary of the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nuryani Zainuddin<\/span><\/span>, emphasized that strengthening the livestock industry from upstream to downstream cannot be achieved without active participation from multiple stakeholders, including SOEs.<\/h6>\n
\u201cWe want SOEs not only to act as business entities, but also as the driving force of national livestock development\u2014from serving as offtakers for smallholder farmers, supply chain aggregators, and providers of financing and logistics, to supporting downstream industries and export strengthening,\u201d she stated.<\/h6>\n
Nuryani also highlighted Indo Livestock 2026 as a strategic momentum to attract investment and expand collaboration, especially considering Indonesia\u2019s strong potential, including its achievements in poultry and egg self-sufficiency.<\/h6>\n
A similar message was conveyed by Director of Livestock Product Downstreaming at the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health, Makmun<\/span><\/span>, who encouraged business players to actively participate in the global-scale exhibition.<\/h6>\n
\u201cWe want livestock entrepreneurs to be present and take part, so that international partners can directly see the extent of our industry\u2019s development and progress,\u201d he said.<\/h6>\n
Makmun stressed that Indo Livestock is not merely a promotional event. Industry achievements must be showcased, and business networks expanded\u2014both of which he considers key indicators of real success.<\/h6>\n
From the organizer\u2019s perspective, a similar commitment was expressed by Agnes Nilam Sunardi<\/span><\/span>, Sales Manager of PT Napindo Media Ashatama. She noted that Napindo\u2019s extensive experience serves as a strong foundation for delivering a high-quality exhibition.<\/h6>\n
\u201cWe have organized over 100 exhibitions, including the Indo Livestock Expo and Forum, which has been running since 2002,\u201d Agnes said.<\/h6>\n
She added that Indo Livestock is not only about showcasing products, but also about enhancing human resources through various educational programs integrated into the exhibition.<\/h6>\n
\u201cThe livestock and animal health industries are introduced to the global stage, encouraged to compete internationally, and supported through human resource development via the educational programs we provide,\u201d she explained.<\/h6>\n
Indo Livestock 2026 is scheduled to take place on June 16\u201318 at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE)<\/span><\/span> in Tangerang. The event is expected to host more than 600 exhibitors from 40 countries and attract around 20,000 professional visitors. Through the synergy between the government and the private sector, this 19th edition is expected to foster a more competitive national livestock ecosystem amid increasingly intense global market competition.<\/h6>\n
