POULTRYINDONESIA, Bogor \u2013 Entering the second day of the training series on broiler and layer chicken farming, participants were invited to go directly into the field to observe the implementation of modern housing technology. This activity, initiated by Committee II of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) in collaboration with PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPI), aims to provide comprehensive understanding of efficient and nationally standardized farm management to the Expert Staff (TA) of Committee II DPD RI.<\/h6>\n
After receiving theoretical material on Friday (April 24, 2026), the focus of activities on Saturday (April 25, 2026) shifted to physical observation at two different locations. Participants visited a broiler housing facility in the Tangerang area and a layer housing facility in the Bogor region.<\/h6>\n
During the visit, CPI\u2019s expert team accompanied participants around the closed house facilities. In-depth explanations were provided regarding biosecurity systems, environmental management, and other supporting facilities.<\/h6>\n
Participants\u2019 enthusiasm was clearly visible through the many interactive discussions on site. This initiative represents a concrete step by Committee II DPD RI to enhance the capacity and competence of local farmers.<\/h6>\n
\"\"By partnering with strategic collaborators such as CPI, it is hoped that participants will not only gain knowledge but also be able to apply national poultry industry standards in their respective regions.<\/h6>\n
Meanwhile, the Chair of Committee II DPD RI, Dr. Badikenita Br Sitepu, S.E., S.H., M.Si., stated on Friday (April 24, 2026) that the agriculture and livestock sectors are currently national strategic priorities. She encouraged each region to build self-sufficiency in the provision of animal protein, particularly through poultry commodities, which are considered more stable in distribution compared to other commodities.<\/h6>\n
According to her, collaboration with the private sector such as CPI is very important in providing assistance to local farmers, from technical aspects to business management.<\/h6>\n
\u201cThrough strong partnerships, we not only increase production but also drive regional economic growth and community welfare,\u201d she said.<\/h6>\n
