POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta<\/strong> \u2013 Indonesia\u2019s largest livestock exhibition and industry forum, Indo Livestock 2026 Expo & Forum<\/strong>, is targeting 20,000 visitors during its upcoming event on June 16\u201318, 2026, at NICE PIK 2. This year\u2019s exhibition will feature approximately 600 exhibitors from 30 countries, including seven participating country pavilions.<\/h6>\n
Ahead of the event, PT Napindo Media Ashatama (Napindo) held a press reception on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) at Aruma Restaurant. During the event, the organizer outlined its preparations and unveiled the program lineup for the exhibition.<\/h6>\n
Lisa Rusli, Project Director of PT Napindo Media Ashatama, explained that the seven country pavilions will represent China, Europe, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The exhibition will occupy a 22,000-square-meter area in Hall B of NICE PIK 2. Visitor targets have been increased from the previous edition, which attracted nearly 19,000 attendees from 52 countries in 2024.<\/h6>\n
In addition to exhibits covering livestock technology, animal feed, animal health, fisheries, and agribusiness, Indo Livestock 2026 will introduce several new programs. One of the highlights is the Indo Livestock Grand Championship (ILGC)<\/strong>, a livestock competition that will be held indoors for the first time. The event will feature sheep contests and sheep agility competitions, activities traditionally associated with outdoor venues.<\/h6>\n
Another new initiative is Youth Farmers Day<\/strong>, designed to encourage greater interest among younger generations in the livestock sector. Furthermore, visitors will be able to enjoy daily live cooking demonstrations featuring various fish and seafood-based dishes throughout the exhibition.<\/h6>\n
Director General of Livestock and Animal Health Services at Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Agriculture, Agung Suganda, described Indo Livestock as an important platform for economic diplomacy within Indonesia\u2019s livestock subsector on the global stage.<\/h6>\n
\u201cThrough this event, we also promote investment, technology transfer, and create new export opportunities for Indonesian livestock commodities,\u201d he said.<\/h6>\n
At this year\u2019s exhibition, the Ministry of Agriculture will showcase an Export Pavilion<\/strong>, highlighting livestock and animal health products that have successfully entered international markets. The government will also facilitate business actors seeking to expand exports into new destination countries.<\/h6>\n
\u201cIndonesia has already achieved self-sufficiency and even surplus production of chicken meat and eggs, enabling us to further expand export opportunities. Commodities currently being promoted include final stock day-old chicks (DOC FS), processed poultry products, veterinary pharmaceuticals, and various animal health products. Potential export destinations under exploration include Vietnam, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, China, and Russia,\u201d Agung explained.<\/h6>\n
Support for Indo Livestock 2026 also comes from the Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (PDHI). PDHI Chairwoman Munawaroh stated that the forum is highly strategic for strengthening collaboration among government institutions, academia, industry, professional organizations, and the media in addressing global challenges such as transboundary animal diseases, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), food security, and climate change.<\/h6>\n
\u201cCross-sector collaboration is becoming increasingly important to strengthen the national animal health system, ensure the safety of animal-origin food products, and support the sustainability of Indonesia\u2019s agribusiness sector,\u201d she said.<\/h6>\n
In addition to the exhibition, Indo Livestock 2026 will host a wide range of seminars and discussion forums covering technological innovation, animal health, food safety, and strategic issues such as the One Health<\/strong> approach and animal disease control.<\/h6>\n
With the support of 50 event partners\u2014including government ministries and agencies, industry associations, universities, and national and international media organizations\u2014the organizers are optimistic that Indo Livestock 2026 will become one of Southeast Asia\u2019s largest livestock industry events while helping drive greater investment and exports for Indonesia\u2019s livestock sector.<\/h6>\n
