While these signs are easily recognized, the metabolic changes occurring in the liver often go unnoticed, despite their significant impact on growth, feed efficiency, and overall production performance.<\/h6>\n<h6 data-start=\"395\" data-end=\"763\">Recent studies have shown that bile acids not only enhance fat digestion but also support liver function by regulating lipid metabolism and improving antioxidant capacity. In one study, broilers supplemented with <strong data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"635\">200 mg\/kg of bile acids<\/strong> during heat stress conditions achieved higher average daily weight gain compared to birds that did not receive supplementation.<\/h6>\n<h6 data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"1049\">Bile acid supplementation was also found to preserve intestinal villus structure, increase the expression of the <strong data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"908\">Farnesoid X Receptor (FXR)<\/strong> in the ileum, enhance <strong data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"966\">glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px)<\/strong> enzyme activity, and help restore gut microbiota balance disrupted by heat stress.<\/h6>\n<h6 data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1485\">In addition, bile acids reduced <strong data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1106\">hepatic lipogenesis<\/strong> by suppressing the expression of key genes involved in fat synthesis, including <strong data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1244\">sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1 (SREBP-1)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1279\">fatty acid synthase (FASN)<\/strong> (Figure 1).
