POULTRYINDONESIA, South Tangerang \u2014 The Indonesian Poultry Breeders Association (Gabungan Pengusaha Peternakan Unggas\/GPPU) officially inaugurated its Regional Committees (Komda) and departmental members as part of the follow-up to the association’s 14th Congress mandate and an effort to strengthen organizational coordination across various regions. The inauguration ceremony was held at Hotel Santika Premiere ICE BSD City on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.<\/h6>\n
In his address, GPPU Chairman Asrokh Nawawi emphasized the importance of Regional Committees in facilitating coordination between the central management and business operators in regional areas. “The establishment of these Regional Committees is necessary to facilitate coordination. No matter how large we are, we cannot succeed by working alone. We must join hands and collaborate,” he stated.<\/h6>\n
According to Asrokh, the challenges facing the poultry industry, particularly price fluctuations, cannot be resolved individually. Interregional consolidation is essential to ensure that measures are more structured and effective in maintaining industry stability.<\/h6>\n
Furthermore, GPPU is promoting data-driven decision-making through the digitalization of poultry industry data. The data is expected to serve as a foundation for assessing market conditions, making projections, and determining collective strategies.<\/h6>\n
“These figures are data, not gut feelings. Data will guide us in making decisions, and those decisions must be made collectively,” he emphasized.<\/h6>\n
With the inauguration of the Regional Committees and the strengthening of strategic departments, GPPU hopes to build a more cohesive organization that can effectively gather regional aspirations, strengthen communication, and advocate for a more stable, measurable, and sustainable poultry industry.<\/h6>\n
GPPU Departmental and Regional Committee Structure<\/h6>\n
Under the newly inaugurated management structure, GPPU has established several strategic departments.<\/h6>\n

    Government Relations and Industrial Policy Department is coordinated by Dimas Citra Insani, with Theo Tomahuw and Sri Wahyuni Hardianto as members.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n
    Organization and Membership Department is coordinated by Demas Dambo, with Erwan Julianto as a member.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
  3. \n
    Legal and Legislative Affairs Department is coordinated by Widarsono, with Stefanius D. Soleman as a member.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
  4. \n
    Institutional Relations and Strategic Cooperation Department is coordinated by M. Nurul Fauzi, with Subadi and Agus Sunardi as members.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
  5. \n
    Digital Transformation, Data, Communication, and Promotion Department is coordinated by Wahyu Nugroho Santosa.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    To strengthen regional coordination, GPPU also inaugurated Regional Committees covering several areas:<\/h6>\n

      West Java is led by S. Sigit Prabowo as Chairman, with Allan Pratama as Vice Chairman.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
    2. \n
      Central Java, East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara are led by Rusmono Budisantosa as Chairman.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
    3. \n
      Sumatra is led by Budi Mulyanto Agustinus as Chairman, with M. Rais Aziz as Vice Chairman.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
    4. \n
      Kalimantan is led by Iriantha Wibawa as Chairman.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
    5. \n
      Sulawesi is led by Andi Muhammad Aris as Chairman.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
