Solusinya adalah beralih ke bahan lokal, namun hambatan utamanya adalah tingginya serat kasar\/ Polisakarida Non-Pati (NSP) yang sulit dicerna. Jika tidak ditangani, NSP meningkatkan viskositas usus yang memicu pertumbuhan bakteri patogen seperti Clostridium perfringens. Enzim NSP-ase seperti xylanase mengubah serat kasar menjadi Xylo-oligosakarida (XOS) yang berfungsi sebagai prebiotik alami bagi bakteri baik seperti Lactobacillus. Bakteri baik ini memproduksi<em> Short-Chain Fatty Acids<\/em> (SCFA), terutama asam butirat, yang menjadi energi bagi sel epitel usus untuk memperpanjang vili usus. Vili yang sehat memperluas area penyerapan nutrisi, sehingga memperbaiki FCR dan performa pertumbuhan.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selain itu, penggunaan aditif seperti probiotik dan postbiotik sangat vital untuk menjaga stabilitas microbiome dari fluktuasi kualitas bahan baku. Melalui nutrisi presisi dan optimalisasi kesehatan pencernaan, industri unggas dapat mencapai efisiensi maksimal di tengah volatilitas harga global. Selain itu, implementasi nutrisi presisi melalui teknologi <em>NearInfrared Spectroscopy<\/em> (NIR) sangat krusial untuk memantau variabilitas kualitas bahan lokal secara real-time. Di era ini, formulator harus beralih ke konsep Ideal Protein yang fokus pada asam amino esensial yang benar-benar dapat diserap (<em>Standardized Ileal Digestibility<\/em>). Terobosan lain seperti penggunaan Tepung Maggot (<em>Black Soldier Fly<\/em>) juga menjanjikan sumber protein alternatif yang berkelanjutan dengan sifat antimikroba alami.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Penggunaan aditif fungsional seperti probiotik, postbiotik, emulsifier, serta pengikat racun <em>(toxin binders)<\/em> menjadi instrumen vital untuk menjaga stabilitas microbiome dari fluktuasi kualitas bahan baku dan risiko kontaminasi mikotoksin di iklim tropis, seperti Indonesia. Melalui sinergi antara teknologi enzim, nutrisi presisi, dan optimalisasi kesehatan pencernaan, industri unggas nasional dapat mencapai efisiensi maksimal dan kemandirian di tengah volatilitas harga global, sekaligus menciptakan industri yang lebih berkelanjutan.
