POULTRYINDONESIA, Blitar — The Berkah Telur Blitar (BTB) Cooperative held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 2025 fiscal year on Sunday (1/2/2026). The event, held at the Al Islah Islamic Middle School Hall in Talun, Blitar Regency, was attended by representatives from the Blitar Regency Office of Cooperatives and SMEs, Dekopinda Blitar, the board of directors and supervisors, and the entire membership.
Despite its young age, the BTB Cooperative has shown rapid development. The Chairperson of the BTB Cooperative, Yesi Yuni Astuti, emphasized that this third AGM proves the board’s consistency and commitment to professional management.
“Alhamdulillah, today marks the third AGM held by the BTB Cooperative. Since our founding, we have continuously strived to manage this cooperative effectively,” Yesi stated in her opening remarks.
She explained that BTB’s AGM journey began in 2023 at the Duren Village Office, followed by the 2024 AGM at Kampung Coklat, and has now expanded further with the 2025 meeting. According to her, the cooperative’s growth is reflected in the significant increase in membership since its inception.
“When founded in June 2023, the cooperative had only 9 members. That number grew to 11 by our launch in September 2023. By the end of 2025, membership reached 155 people—an increase of over a thousand percent since we started,” she revealed.

Diversification and Support for Small-Scale Farmers
Beyond membership growth, Yesi added that BTB has developed six economic divisions:
  1. Feed
  2. Eggs
  3. DOC & Livestock Equipment (Sapronak)
  4. Ruminants
  5. Rice
  6. Fisheries and Processed Foods
One flagship program hailed for assisting member farmers is the joint corn purchasing program, where the purchase of a single truck of corn is split among several members, making it more affordable for small-scale farmers.
“We want this cooperative to truly be a solution for small farmers, one way being through the joint corn purchasing program,” Yesi said.
Strategic Goals for 2026
During the AGM, several strategic agendas were ratified, including:
  • The 2026 work plan and budget.
  • The 2025 accountability report from the board and supervisors.
  • New programs regarding DOC, corn, and the management of Dividend Distribution (SHU).
Member participation has also shown a positive trend, rising from 60% in 2024 to 90% in 2025. Yesi hopes this figure will hit 100% in 2026, ensuring the cooperative benefits both its members and the surrounding community.
Government Appreciation
Endang Witanti, representing the Blitar Regency Office of Cooperatives, expressed appreciation for BTB’s performance, noting its rapid growth at just 2.5 years old. She cited timely AGMs as a key indicator of organizational health and compliance.
“I appreciate BTB’s consistency in holding the AGM on time every year. Moving forward, we encourage the cooperative to continue improving, not just in business, but also in human resource capacity—specifically through Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) certification for the board members,” she added.
