POULTRYINDONESIA, Blitar – The Berkah Telur Blitar (BTB) Cooperative held its Member Meeting for the 2026 Work Plan and Budget (RARK–RAPB) on Thursday (Dec 25, 2025). The event took place at a restaurant in the Tlogo Kanigoro area, Blitar Regency.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Blitar Regency Cooperative and SME Office, including Arief Djaelani, S.T. (Head of the Cooperative Empowerment and Protection Division) and Ali Murtadlo, S.E. (Technical Policy Analyst). Also in attendance were the cooperative’s board of directors, supervisors, managers of BTB’s economic divisions, and member representatives from every district.
In her opening remarks, the Chairperson of the BTB Cooperative, Yesi Yuni, highlighted the cooperative’s brief but progressive journey since its establishment on June 8, 2023. She noted that by December 2023, the cooperative was already able to organize the 2024 Work Plan meeting, followed by its first Annual Member Meeting (RAT) in January 2024—which included the distribution of patronage refunds (SHU) despite the cooperative being only six months old.
“In December 2024, we again carried out the 2025 Work Plan meeting, and in January 2025, we held our second Annual Meeting. Today, December 25, 2025, we are once again conducting the Work Plan and Budget meeting for the 2026 fiscal year. This demonstrates that all cooperative mechanisms are being carried out consistently and in accordance with regulations,” Yesi stated.
She emphasized that this consistency reflects the board’s commitment to managing the cooperative with prudence, professionalism, and accountability. Furthermore, Yesi explained that the cooperative utilizes three primary mechanisms as mandated: the RARK to draft annual work plans, the RAT as a forum for performance accountability, and the Extraordinary Member Meeting (RALB) to discuss strategic and urgent issues.
During the 2026 Work Plan session, managers from BTB’s economic divisions presented their respective plans for the coming year. Of the previous seven economic divisions, the cooperative decided to make adjustments by temporarily suspending two.
The divisions that will remain operational in 2026 include feed, eggs, DOC/pullet (day-old chicks), rice, and ruminants. Meanwhile, the processed food and fisheries divisions have temporarily ceased operations for internal evaluation and strengthening.
The meeting was dynamic, featuring active participation from members who took turns providing feedback, suggestions, and questions regarding the presentations from the board and division managers.
On this occasion, Ali Murtadlo from the Blitar Regency Cooperative and SME Office stressed the importance of healthy cooperative governance. He outlined several indicators of a strong and sustainable cooperative and advised the management to ensure that BTB Cooperative always conducts its business activities in line with established cooperative principles and regulations.
