POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta – Indonesian Feedmills Association (GPMT) held a charity program with the theme ‘Boost Immunity with Chicken and Egg Consumption’ for people who affected by COVID-19 pandemic at East Pademangan, North Jakarta, Wednesday (13/5). This charity program will be held in a few days from 13th to 20th May 2020.
The total of two tons of broiler carcass and two tons of eggs will be shared with Greater Jakarta Area citizens who needed the most. The distribution of carcass and eggs will be held in 15 areas. Every inhabitant in a certain area will get one kg egg and broiler carcass with the same weight.

Desianto B. Utomo as Chief of GPMT which attends charity handover at East Pademangan Village, North Jakarta, explained that this activity is a form of GPMT’s care and sympathy for those who affected by COVID-19. “Even though this aid will not solving a problem, but we want to show our empathy to others and give a message to societies affected by COVID-19 are not alone.”
Bambang Mulyanto as Headman of East Pademangan expresses his gratefulness to GPMT for social aid which has been given to their area. “This aid will help citizens to improve their immune system,” he said. To avoid crowds, the aid is not directly given to inhabitants, but every village staff will distribute the aid directly to the inhabitants’ house.
Gunawan, as one of East Pademangan citizen also said thank you for this aid. He said that COVID-19 has a massive impact on societies’ life, especially their income and occupation. “Alhamdulillah that many people empathize, this aid will be beneficial for us.” Sandi
