POULTRYINDONESIA, Bandung – PT Medion Farma Jaya has once again marked a strategic milestone in the international market. In December 2025, the company officially dispatched its inaugural export of pharmaceutical products to three new destination countries: Taiwan, Zambia, and Egypt.
This expansion is part of Medion’s sustainable growth strategy, following its successful penetration into more than 20 countries across Asia and Africa. These first-time exports further solidify the position and competitiveness of national pharmaceutical products on the global stage.
Strategic Partnerships and Market Adaptation
In developing these markets, Medion selected potential distributors through the export agency Artha Vena International (AVI). Through this collaboration, Medion provides export-quality products at competitive prices, backed by comprehensive scientific data and a Technical Team ready to assist distributors with marketing strategies and field applications.
Furthermore, Medion provides label customization services to match the local language and regulations of the destination countries. This step is crucial in ensuring that products are easily accepted, understood, and utilized by local markets while remaining compliant with specific national regulatory requirements.
Product Portfolio by Region
The shipments included a variety of health and nutritional solutions tailored to regional needs:
  • Zambia: Antibiotics (Amoxitin NF and Therapy) and vitamins (Aminovit, Broiler Vita, and Vita Chicks Golden).
  • Taiwan: Nutritional supplements (Vita Stress and Reduvir).
  • Egypt: The immunostimulant Imustim.
All products are manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and shipped via sea and air using high distribution standards. Controlled supply chain management ensures that product quality is maintained until arrival.
Future Outlook: Herbal Innovation and AMR
Moving forward, Medion hopes to continue expanding its range of export variants, particularly herbal-based products, as part of its commitment to helping minimize the risk of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). This expansion is expected to open opportunities in even more countries and reinforce Medion’s position as a leading animal health manufacturer in Asia and Africa.
