POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta – Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) as Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture inaugurated Dr. Ir. Nasrullah, M.Sc as Director-General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health (Dirjen PKH) at Head Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, South Jakarta, Thursday (6/8). Nasrullah replaced Dr. drh. I Ketut Diarmita, M.P as the former Dirjen PKH who has served 46 months since 2016.

On his opening speech, SYL said that changing positions and transfers are customary in an organization “Hopefully the officials who are inaugurated today can give a substantial contribution to Indonesian agriculture,” Syahrul also expressed his immense appreciation for the performance of Indonesian agriculture which is a difficult situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic but is still able to grow by 16.24%.

“We have to be able to maximize the utilization of our existing natural resources, and I hope livestock can be more superior. Therefore, I remind all officials at the Ministry of Agriculture to focus on the goals and to be sincere in their work,” he said.

On the same occasion, seven Primary High Leaders and a Primary High Executive Officer were also inaugurated. From the list, there was Dr. drh. Agus Susanto, M.Si who was inaugurated as Person in Charge for Head of Research and Development Center for Animal Husbandry (Balitbangtan) and drh. Maidaswar, M.Si. as Head of the Center for Quality Testing and Certification of Veterinary Drugs (BBPMSOH), Dirjen PKH. Sandi
