POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta – Live bird price in the farm gate still becomes a major problem for every poultry farmers in recent years. Tirta Karma Senjaya as head of Sub Directorate Agricultural and Livestock Product Ministry of Trade said that they already established Permendag No. 07/2020 about reference price in farm gate as well as in consumer to revise Permendag No. 96/2018.

This policy applied to increase live bird prices from farmers so they will get a profit from their poultry farm product. “Along with the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Agriculture also attempts to stabilize broiler price by cutting production policy. If we take a look on exiting data for broiler price range in Java on February 2020, the live average bird price was on Rp18.291/kg which rose significantly from January 2020 which only Rp15.509/kg,” He said on Inauguration of ISPI West Java II Branch broad and Talk Show in Bogor, Wednesday (4/3).
