POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta – PT Raja Jeva Nisi is further solidifying its expansion into international markets by realizing its maiden export of processed chicken products to Timor Leste. This momentum marks a significant milestone in expanding its global market network while affirming the increasing competitiveness of the national poultry industry.
The inaugural export was dispatched during a simultaneous export release ceremony at the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture office on Tuesday (3/3). On this occasion, Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman expressed his appreciation to all poultry companies that have successfully penetrated export markets. According to him, the sustainability of exports reflects the resilience of the national poultry sector, which is now capable of meeting domestic needs independently.
He emphasized that national chicken production capacity is more than sufficient and is supported by strict quality control systems. This condition allows Indonesia to expand export markets while strengthening national food security.
āWe want to show the world that Indonesia is strong. Our chicken production is more than enough; we do not need to bring in chicken from abroad. We thank all the poultry companies that have successfully broken into export markets. The government will provide support, especially regarding legality and various export requirements. These exports also increase the country’s foreign exchange, create jobs, and increase the added value of the products we produce,ā he said.

On the same occasion, the Commissioner of PT Raja Jeva Nisi, Tjandra Srimulianingsih, explained that PT Raja Jeva Nisi is part of the PT Taat Indah Bersinar (TIB) group. The entire production process within the group is integrated from upstream to downstream, serving as a primary strength in producing export-competitive processed chicken.
According to her, the raw material supply for the processing plant comes from internal farms that implement Good Farming Practices (GFP) under the supervision of veterinarians and experienced animal husbandry graduates. This ensures consistent quality and product safety. āWith this integrated system, we are optimistic in terms of both quality and continuity of supply,ā said Tjandra.
Currently, PT Raja Jeva Nisi produces a variety of chicken-based processed products marketed in modern markets, online marketplaces, and international markets. During this simultaneous export momentum, PT Raja Jeva Nisi conducted its first export of processed products to Timor Leste with a volume of 8 tons valued at approximately Rp600 million. Moving forward, shipments are targeted to take place routinely every two weeks.
āOur hope is to continue contributing to generating foreign exchange for the country. We also express our gratitude for the government’s support so far and in the future,ā she added.
Meanwhile, the Director of PT Raja Jeva Nisi, Ariefin, added that the company is exporting eight variants of processed products, such as sausages, nuggets, karaage, and other ready-to-eat products. Throughout 2026, PT Raja Jeva Nisi targets 20 shipments to the Timor Leste market. Furthermore, the company is exploring expansion into three new countries within the current year.
