POULTRY INDONESIA, Bandung – PT Tekad Mandiri Citra (TMC) celebrated its 27th anniversary by organizing a social initiative through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, themed “TMC Cares – A Drop of Blood for the Nation,” at the company’s manufacturing facility in Bandung on Friday (July 3). The event featured a blood donation drive, free health check-ups, and complimentary eye examinations for employees and participants.

The humanitarian initiative received enthusiastic participation from employees of TMC, along with staff from PT Anugerah Panji Mandiri (APM), PT Biomol Nusantara Mandiri (BIOMOL), and PT Ganesa Kalpataru Satya (KALPATARU). In collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bandung, the event successfully collected 95 units of blood, which will be distributed to patients in need.

In addition to the blood donation drive, TMC expanded the impact of its CSR program by partnering with PT Biotek Farmasi Indonesia to provide free health screenings and Optical Noor to offer complimentary eye examinations for participants.

“This blood donation drive is our way of sharing and demonstrating TMC’s social responsibility to the community. At the same time, it helps support the blood supply in Bandung,” he said.

According to him, donating blood not only benefits recipients but also teaches the values of humanity, solidarity, and selflessness.

“Through blood donation, we learn about equality and togetherness like nothing else. Once we donate, we let go of it, entrust it to the authorities, and never know whose life it will ultimately help,” he added.

Having donated blood more than 50 times, Gowinda also expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm shown by all participants. He emphasized that the blood donation program will become a regular activity as part of TMC’s ongoing commitment to contributing to public health.
