POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta – A journalist from Poultry Indonesia has once again achieved recognition at the 2026 JAPFA Journalism Awards (AKJJ JAPFA). This year, Geraldine Anggi Putri won second place in the print journalism category for her article entitled “Stunting Rates Decline, but Collaboration Must Continue,” published in the August edition.
The JAPFA Journalism Awards (AKJJ JAPFA) recognize journalistic works covering issues and developments related to the business operations of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA), as well as the food and livestock sectors. The competition provides a platform for journalists to deliver informative, data-driven coverage of the industry.
In the 2026 AKJJ JAPFA judging process, entries were evaluated by a panel of judges based on several journalistic criteria established by the organizers. In addition to print journalism, the competition also featured online journalism and photography categories this year.
Geraldine is a journalist at Poultry Indonesia who actively covers various issues in the livestock and food sectors. Through her journalistic work, she highlights developments in the poultry industry, policies, technology, and issues related to supply chains and sustainability in the food sector.
This achievement further adds to Poultry Indonesia journalists’ track record of success in various journalism competitions. Previously, Poultry Indonesia journalists also received awards at the 2024 AKJJ, an essay-writing competition organized by the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health Services (DGLAHS) in collaboration with FAO ECTAD Indonesia in 2018, and the 2017 BSN Journalism Awards.
With another award at the 2026 JAPFA Journalism Awards, Poultry Indonesia continues to demonstrate its contribution to delivering journalistic work that informs the public about developments in the poultry and food industries.
