Nusantara Livestock and Poultry Expo and Indonesia Agriculture Technology Expo 2026 Officially Open, Showcasing Agricultural and Livestock Innovations to Strengthen Indonesia’s Food Security
POULTRYINDONESIA, Tangerang – The Nusantara Livestock & Poultry Expo (NLP Expo) 2026 and Indonesia Agriculture Technology Expo (INDOGRITECH Expo) 2026 were officially opened on Wednesday (November 4, 2026), at Nusantara Hall, Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Tangerang. Under the theme “Shaping a Resilient Food Estate for Indonesia,” the two exhibitions aim to strengthen Indonesia’s agricultural and livestock ecosystems through technological innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and the development of sustainable business opportunities.
Organized by Debindo Group, NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 bring together various national and multinational brands across a 5,000-square-meter exhibition area in Hall 5, ICE BSD City. Over the four-day event, the exhibitions target 20,000 visitors from various industry segments, including business players, decision-makers, farmers, livestock producers, associations, academics, and government stakeholders.
The opening ceremony of NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 was attended by government officials, association leaders, academics, and industry representatives from the agricultural and livestock sectors.
Rafidi Iqra Muhammad, Director of PT Debindo Global Expo, stated that this year’s event represents a strategic momentum for driving the transformation of Indonesia’s agricultural and livestock sectors, particularly in addressing the challenges of climate change, market dynamics, the need to increase productivity, and the importance of maintaining a sustainable national food supply.
The opening ceremony also marked the launch of the Nusantara AgriFuture Summit, a discussion forum bringing together stakeholders to explore the development of the agricultural and livestock sectors.
Under the theme “Circular Agriculture: Unlocking the Potential of Land and Livestock,” the discussion was moderated by Cheria Vasti and featured three speakers: Dr. drh. Makmun, M.Sc., Director of Livestock Product Downstreaming at the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health (Ditjen PKH); Phil Rickard, Executive Director of the Indonesian International Biochar Association (ABII); and Prof. Bayu Dwi Apri Nugroho, S.T.P., M.Agr., Ph.D., Deputy Secretary-General for Research, Development, and Strategic Studies at the National Board of the Indonesian Farmers Association (DPN HKTI).
Following the discussion and Q&A session, the opening ceremony continued with remarks from Andra Soni, S.M., M.A.P., Chairman of the Banten Regional Board of HKTI. Meanwhile, the Opening Remarks for NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 were delivered by Dr. Sudaryono, B.Eng., M.M., MBA, Chairman of the National Board of HKTI.
“Strengthening the agricultural and livestock sectors must go hand in hand with improving productivity and the welfare of those involved. We want farmers and livestock producers to experience tangible benefits from every policy implemented. Through events such as NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo, I hope collaboration and the adoption of technology will further accelerate the development of Indonesia’s agricultural and livestock sectors,” said Dr. Sudaryono during his opening remarks.
His remarks marked the beginning of the official inauguration of the two exhibitions, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony symbolizing the official opening of NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026.
Strengthening Collaboration for National Food Security
Food security requires strong synergy among the government, private sector, researchers, farmers, and industry players. Through NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026, stakeholders are expected to establish strategic partnerships, explore the latest technological solutions, and expand access to investment and market opportunities.
The two exhibitions highlight various key aspects of agricultural and livestock development, ranging from the modernization of farming practices and the implementation of smart farming technologies to stronger biosecurity measures and the development of more sustainable, export-oriented production practices.
Through this approach, the event is expected to serve as a platform connecting industry needs with innovation while supporting efforts to build a more productive, resilient, and sustainable Indonesian food system.
Bringing Real-World Farming Experiences to the Exhibition
As part of the visitor experience, NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 also feature NusaFarm, an experiential farming area showcasing smart agriculture concepts and hands-on agricultural activities.
NusaFarm is designed to connect the agricultural ecosystem with both business audiences and end consumers through direct experiences, technology demonstrations, interactive activities, and opportunities to engage with industry professionals.
The presence of NusaFarm is expected to broaden visitors’ understanding of modern agricultural technology applications while connecting solution providers with technology users across various market segments.
Business Programs and Industry Collaboration
In addition to the exhibition area, NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 feature a range of supporting programs designed to strengthen knowledge exchange, create partnership opportunities, and encourage business development.
These programs complement the exhibitions’ role as business platforms that not only showcase products and technologies but also promote dialogue, knowledge sharing, and the establishment of sustainable business relationships.
One of the featured programs is the IPB Stakeholder Forum 2026, themed “Meneguhkan Kemandirian, Menginspirasi Masa Depan” (Strengthening Self-Reliance, Inspiring the Future), organized by IPB University on November 4, 2026. The forum brings together stakeholders to exchange perspectives and explore collaboration opportunities in support of the advancement of Indonesia’s agricultural and livestock sectors.
Another program is HILIRIZE!, themed “Co-op the Future, Create the Value!”, scheduled for November 5, 2026. The event highlights downstream processing opportunities to create added value for Indonesian livestock products.
Meanwhile, the Indonesia Agri-Future Forum 2026, organized through a collaboration between HKTI and Pemuda Tani Indonesia on November 6, 2026, will discuss agricultural digitalization and strengthening the resilience of skilled migrant workers in supporting sustainable food self-sufficiency.
Various other programs are also being presented through collaborations with associations, institutions, and industry players in the agricultural and livestock sectors. Through this series of activities, NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 are expected to provide a meeting platform for industry players, government representatives, associations, academics, and communities to broaden their knowledge and establish cross-sector collaboration opportunities.
Creating Opportunities for Farmers and Regional Businesses
One of the key focuses of NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 is to expand the involvement of Farmers Groups Associations (Gapoktan), agricultural and livestock companies, and regional stakeholders.
Through business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) collaboration approaches, the platform is expected to connect farmers and livestock producers with modern technology providers and government stakeholders.
Access to technology, industry networks, and partnership opportunities are essential to promoting agricultural modernization across various regions. The collaborations established are also expected to strengthen the capabilities of local businesses and enhance their contribution to national food security.
Building on Industry Growth Momentum
At the 2025 edition, NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo recorded 7,814 visitors over four days, with participation from more than 70 national and multinational brands across a 5,000-square-meter exhibition area. Organizer data also showed that 82% of visitors were decision-makers.
These achievements provide a foundation for expanding the event’s reach in 2026, with targets of more than 100 participating brands and 20,000 potential visitors.
By bringing together industry players, technology providers, farming communities, academics, and government representatives on a single platform, NLP Expo and INDOGRITECH Expo 2026 are expected to strengthen industry connectivity and create new growth opportunities for Indonesia’s agricultural and livestock sectors.
Through the theme “Shaping a Resilient Food Estate for Indonesia,” this year’s event underscores the importance of innovation and collaboration in building a stronger, more adaptive, and sustainable national food ecosystem.
