POULTRYINDONESIA, Jakarta – Indonesia’s livestock industry continues to show positive momentum, driven by innovation, improved livestock quality, and the growing number of regional competitions. Recognizing this potential, Indo Livestock 2026 Expo & Forum is introducing a new breakthrough: the Indo Livestock Grand Championship, a livestock competition expected to elevate national competition standards.
Organized by PT Napindo Media Ashatama (Napindo) and hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture through the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health Services (Ditjen PKH), Indo Livestock 2026 Expo & Forum will take place on June 16–18, 2026, at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) PIK 2, Tangerang. This international exhibition has consistently served as a strategic platform for industry players, academics, and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration in advancing innovation, improving production quality, and enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesia’s livestock sector.
This commitment was also reflected in Indo Livestock’s participation in the Expo Peternakan & Kontes Sapi Piala Padjadjaran 2026, held on Saturday (April 11, 2026) in Sumedang. As part of the Gebyar Ternak Padjadjaran series, the event featured various programs, including livestock contests, exhibitions, and educational activities for industry players and the public.
Through this collaboration, Indo Livestock contributes to strengthening the national livestock ecosystem while supporting the development of a more structured livestock competition system in Indonesia.
Napindo’s Operation Director, Adhika Arthapaty, noted that the increasing number of livestock competitions across regions reflects growing enthusiasm and improving quality among farmers. According to him, this is a positive signal for developing a more standardized competition system at the national level.
“Livestock competitions in various regions show continuously increasing enthusiasm and quality. This is a positive signal that the industry needs a platform capable of accommodating more measurable standards while bringing together top industry players on a national stage,” he said.
Building on this development, the 19th edition of Indo Livestock introduces the Indo Livestock Grand Championship as one of its flagship programs. The competition will feature ruminant livestock, particularly cattle and sheep, and is designed as an extension of various livestock contests that have developed across different regions.
Notably, the Indo Livestock Grand Championship will become Indonesia’s first indoor livestock competition held inside an exhibition hall. This concept offers a new experience in organizing livestock contests while providing broader recognition for farmers.
Beyond being a competition, the event is also expected to serve as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and increasing appreciation for the development of Indonesia’s livestock industry. Napindo hopes this initiative will drive productivity, competitiveness, and the sustainable welfare of farmers.
In addition, the program is designed to strengthen connectivity between regional livestock activities and international industry forums presented through the Indo Livestock Expo & Forum.
In 2026, Indo Livestock Expo & Forum will be held on a larger scale with more comprehensive programs. The exhibition will bring together industry players from upstream to downstream in an integrated platform, offering strategic opportunities for farmers, producers, distributors, and policymakers to connect with technological advancements, innovations, and global markets.
Napindo invites all stakeholders in the livestock industry to take part in this momentum—as participants, partners, or visitors—to jointly advance a more innovative and globally competitive Indonesian livestock industry.
Indo Livestock 2026 will also be held alongside Indo Feed, Indo Dairy, Indo Agrotech, Indo Vet, and Indo Fisheries 2026 Expo & Forum. The exhibition is expected to feature more than 600 exhibitors from 40 countries, 12 country pavilions, and approximately 20,000 visitors, including business players, innovators, academics, researchers, and policymakers in the livestock and agribusiness sectors.
